Eight years ago, what started as a simple creative experiment turned into something truly special. I picked up my first wine glass and paintbrush just for fun, never imagining how much joy it would bring into my life. What started around kitchen tables and living rooms quickly became a favorite way to connect - filled with laughter, conversation, creativity and shared moments with friends and family.

Wine glass painting became more than just art, it became an experience. It was about slowing down, being present, expressing creativity without pressure, and enjoying the beauty of making something with your own hands. Every gathering reminded me that art doesn't have to be perfect - it just has to be joyful.

As the years have gone on, I've felt a strong pull to expand this experience beyond my own circle.  I realize how powerful this simple, creative activity could be for others - as a way to relax, connect, celebrate, and nurture the spirit.  That desire is what inspired me to bring wine glass painting and creative experiences to a wider community through Kat's Artful Sips.

Today my mission is to share that same sense of fun, connection and creative freedom with others. Whether you're painting for the first time or rediscovering your creative side, my hope is that each experience leaves you feeling inspired, relaxed and a little more connected - to yourself and those around you. - Cheers to an Artful experience!
